I am looking for good/moderate level MTB rides in the Reno/sparks/carson city area.

I travel there for biz and need to find safe entertainment for the non working hours.

anybody have some recommendations?

Thanks.

And just like that...here comes the snow. Great day to work on the bikes while the dogs lay around in the garage.

Speaking of alternative transportation...

One thing on the to do list is to contact the bus lines and find out what will happen if more than a couple riders decide to use multi-mode transportation on bike to work week. Currently, from what I understand, if you miss out on the two available rack spots, you are SOL.

I will definitely make some noise about this in Reno. My company encourages people to use alternative transportation, but only 2 or 3 actually do it, so I hope that the "official" ride to work day will get more people to try it out.

I'm sure I could come up with some raffle prizes, I have some great commuter tires that would be perfect.

Movie night sounds awesome too!

Sorry I missed the ride, but I couldn't get my car out of the driveway! I'll catch up with you guys in June! :^)
For some reason when I look at the pictures I keep hearing the song "Rollin', rollin', rollin', keep them doggies rollin'"!

This ride did not disappoint. It had rolling hills, varied climbs, fun downhills, and as always with a Bendejo Potter ride, I was plumb worn out just before the last climb.

When do we get to go again?
